(1 vermin dead, 14 vermin left!)
"Lysistra Darkmoon, put away that silly little blade before you get killed for that last remark!"
"I'm afraid your in no place to make comments like that kitty," Lysistra said nastily, "you may be a seer, but your no fighter." She ignored Zayanya walking behind her. After all, what could she do?
"Yes I am.""Look at me Mam. You want to try and pick a fight with someone like me? I'm not bragging but... You're only a female and I think I could take you out real easy. No offense?"
"You remind me of some pine martens I saw a long time ago. Near Salamandastron I think," Lysistra said thoughtfully, "their both dead." As she said the last three words her fist tigtened on her sword hilt and her voice became sinester.
"Madam, forgo the tea for a while if you don't mind me saying and look to the safety of your house. A fight seems to go without saying today.""Well what are you going to do?"
Lysistra was about to answer when a voice broke out behind her...
"Oh don't worry Aloyoshenka or you Mr. Vinsing. I can handle this MYself!!"
Lysistra turned around just in time to see Zayanya go into the stone house. She started toward it in a rage when a rat fell next to her, dead as stone by Fang's blade.
"Vermin have been saying that for years. You've only killed the old and young, too harmless and frail to offer resistance against you. It's about time you actually took on trained fighters-beasts who have worked all their lives to ensure vermin like you get wiped out of Mossflower once and for all."
Lysistra had no time to say anything here ether as there was a crash and yells from the house.
"If there are ANY vermin left in my house by the time I count to three, the remaining creatures will be skinned alive and boiled in their own blood! ONE! TWO!!"
The vermin who survived the encounter came out, looking very alarmed. One of them, the ferret, looked worst of the bunch. He had a large bleeding wound on his side.
"You see Lysistra Darkmoon, these "horde" vermin are just like you! Cowards at heart when faced with a power stronger then themselves. You and I both know of whom I speak!"
Lysistra was enraged that a puny seer could kill one of her beasts. She would not alow this! But, she managed to keep anger under control for a second and turned to Aloyoshenka. "I am sorry we have met under such circumstances, you are a, well, interesting beast," Lysistra said, "I really don't want to kill you. So I will have Gutclaw do it." She turned to a large male dog-fox next to her. "Kill him," she said and pointed at Aloyoshenka. Gutclaw grinned and swung a large battle-axe downwards at Aloyoshenka's head.
Lysistra walked slowly towards Zayanya. "Now witch," she said, her anger gaining control, "you will die!" She jumped at Zayanya warding of the hot knife with her sword while trying to sink her teeth into Zayanya's throat.
When the rat dropped to the ground dead, a weasel rushed at Fang with dagger. "He was me mate!" he shouted, "I'll split ye in half for dat!" He swung his dagger at Fang's face in a rage.

Fang was ignoring all the other beasts besides himself and his enemies, although he saw the female marten dash toward Zayanya after a crash was heard from the female wildcat's house. Almost instantly, another rat leapt at the black furred weasel with an angry cry.
He was me mate! I'll split ye in half for dat!
"Good luck with that," Fang muttered and slashed at the weasel's throat before stabbing at its stomach with his long steel blade. He was pretty sure that would finish the rodent off, but he didn't bother to look and whirled around to where Lysistra was attacking Zayanya with a sword. The female wildcat was defending herself with a knife glowing with heat.
Fang did the natural thing for him; he swung his blade at Lysistra's back. Not that he liked to fight unfairly. But in fighting, nothing's fair. You have to expect pain. That's how you win.

Estlin ascended the slight slope he'd stood on and walked evenly and quietly down as the action took place. He watched, brow raised, as the lady wildcat emerged from her home with a fire-red knife. Well, that certainly answered his question. She was a cat, through and through... and now she was mad and he ought to know that an angry ladycat was not something to bother. However, it appeared most of the robber crew did not. That would be interesting.
All the stabbing and screeching and insults and threats thrown around didn't seem to phase the large cat as he stepped purposefully into the fray. He brushed past the chaos, tossing one of his arms out only when a rat with a dagger strayed too close, the edge of his gauntlet sunk into the creatures chest and sent it flailing backwards into the underbrush.
"I'm afraid your in no place to make comments like that kitty," Lysistra said nastily, "you may be a seer, but your no fighter."
He tilted his head and smirked. He moved closer, his blue eyes watching the weasel and wildcat face off. Silly creature. Lysistra made to leap towards the other cat and Estlin calmly reached out a paw to grip her shoulder firmly. Being a beast of large size, the paw strength he used was not exceedingly great- not bone breaking, but surely uncomfortable.
"Y'know," he muttered, glancing down at Lysistra, "I think she was tryin' t'tell yah somethin', Awfully rude ta' jus' go an' attack 'er, huh?"

Aloyoshenka was finding it hard to take in everything going on around him. He really started to pay attention when Lysistra addressed him.
"You remind me of some pine martens I saw a long time ago. Near Salamandastron I think," Lysistra said thoughtfully, "their both dead."
Aloyoshenka froze. His breath came in hurried gasps and his eyes were fixed steadily, dumbly on her. His whole body tensed at first then he seemed to be going through spams as his whole body shook violently. Slowly he brought himself into reality. He tried to calm himself but next thing he knew he flew into a terrible uncontrollable rage. Without a clear head it was harder for him to concentrate on everything happening.
He didn't notice what she was saying. He didn't even hear her. "She-devil!" He roared, while unconsciously bringing his hand up and grabbing the handle of the axe with his strong arm, stopping it inches away from coming down on his head. "You took everything from me! Come here now coward! You took my father unaware and my brother unarmed and defenseless. You took my mother too... Everything bad that's ever happened in my life was a result of your evil! Come now!!! COME AND DIE!!!!!!!!"
He screamed this last sentence with so much vehemence and volume that everyone in the vicinity heard him. He saw the male cat grab Lysistra. But he didn't care. He forced his way up until he facing the pine marten... "Let her go!" he snarled, "Let me fight her."

((Only one at the time you counted mate! I didn't kill him, I thought...Ah well. It looks like we have 4 out of 13 left now..))
"I'm afraid your in no place to make comments like that kitty, you may be a seer, but your no fighter."
"Kitty?" Zayanya questioned with an attitude, walking toward her house." You should look at your-self and see you are only a stuck-up run away who wines for life before you make accusations about a beast you don't even know." ___________________________________________
"Now witch, you will die!"
Lysisteria jumped at Zayanya swinging her sword at her blade and trying to bite her. Zayanya, having had weapons training from her "father", watch the attack and followed through with the movement. But also keeping in mind that Fang went to jump at her attacker's back.
She then quickly angled her body to her right, so the bite aimed at her mouth would fly by at a mere-shoulder height. She then spun her fire-soaked knife. The movement would have clashed with Lysisteria's blade, sending sparks down the blade to try and burn the paw and even disarm the blade if it was not held correctly.
"Not a fighter, Lysisteria? A witch, Lysisteria? You never did listen to your parents did you? The were right to shield you. You need patience if you are to survive in a world of hot tempers."
She was about to continue to counterattack her assailant, when Estlin stepped in, trying to catch Lysisteria by the shoulder.
"Y'know, I think she was tryin' t'tell yah somethin', Awfully rude ta' jus' go an' attack 'er, huh?"
She snarled at Estlin, her eyes blazing, ears twitching causing her purple tattoo to sparkle in the dying light. "I believe I specifically told you not to help me Mr. Vinsing! And I am cat by blood, but not a cat as cold hearted as You!"

(Oh, I thought you killed him. Well, fixed!)
The weasel who had sprung at Fang was no match for the vermin-slayer. He fell dead, his throat and stomach split wide open. As Fang rushed her Lysistra jumped to the side to avoid the blade, then redoubled her attack on Zayanya.
"Not a fighter, Lysisteria? A witch, Lysisteria? You never did listen to your parents did you? The were right to shield you. You need patience if you are to survive in a world of hot tempers."
Lysistra fell silent and stopped moving. Her breathing grew heavy, and her eyes misted. After a while, she spoke. "My parents?" she asked quietly, "Why do you torment me with the past wildcat?"
"Y'know, I think she was tryin' t'tell yah somethin', Awfully rude ta' jus' go an' attack 'er, huh?"
Lysistra had been very shut down by Zayanya's remark, and didn't even try to resist Estlin's strong grasp. "Yes, I guess it is," Lysistra said, still seeming as if she were in a trance.
"She-devil! You took everything from me! Come here now coward! You took my father unaware and my brother unarmed and defenseless. You took my mother too... Everything bad that's ever happened in my life was a result of your evil! Come now!!! COME AND DIE!!!!!!!!"
The roar behind her almost made Lysistra jump out of her skin. She snapped out of the trance she had been in and tried to turn despite being held in place. She saw Aloyoshenka fighting Gutclaw on the other side of the garden. Gutclaw gasped in surprise as Aloyoshenka stopped the battle axe with one paw. He swung at Aloyoshenka's back when he turned, but missed, nearly falling over.
"Let her go, Let me fight her."
All the vermin grew quite and stopped fighting. All eyes were on their leader. For several moments, there was beautiful silence. During the quite Lysistra was thinking as hard as she could. She couldn't fight Aloyoshenka one on one. He was stronger than her and in a terrible rage. Could she have created an enemy as bad as Alastor Erial the stoat? She would have to talk, not fight, her way out of this.
"Look... marten. I don't know if those beasts we killed were related to you! They could have been any-beast!" Lysistra said, "Besides, you can't be dishonorable enough to hurt a girl, could you?" Then Lysistra smiled, opened her dark eyes wide, and tried to extend all her feminine charm. "Really," she said, still smiling, "you couldn't hurt a face like this!" Some of vermin snickered at their leaders sudden change in attitude. Lysistra ignored them though. She hoped to accomplish two things by her display. Take Aloyoshenka off his guard, and make Estlin relax his grip long enough so she could strike...

"I believe I specifically told you not to help me Mr. Vinsing! And I am cat by blood, but not a cat as cold hearted as You!"
Estlin raised in brow in a half surprised and half amused expression. A light grin crossed his face, the tips of his fangs gleaming as he smiled. His eyes glanced sideways, taking note of the marten that raged his way forward, demanding the ability to kill the creature Estlin help in paw. Without paying much mind to the martens request, the wildcat cast his aqua gaze back to Zayanya.
"I apologize in such a case," he said calmly, his husky voice in the familiar drawl of his accent growling out his throat. "Howeva', I will suggest tha' perhaps yah confuse character with... eh, culture."
He paused, cast a glace down at Lysistra, "bu', as ye wish." He pushed the creature forward, angling the shove towards the marten that seemed to keen on attacking her. He looked back to Zayanya again, "'appy?"

"What the..." Muttered Aloyoshenka panting and trembling. "What do you want from me?" He voice sounded unsure and not quite so harsh. "What do you want from me?" He repeated, "You kill Innocent beasts and then are coward enough to refuse to fight me face to face. You lead a horde, you act tough, ruthless. And now you try to twist me with your poison?"
He lifted his blade with an unsteady hand. "I have no need of you, nor does any other beast. You have nothing to give me and it is no loss to me if I kill you. The life of one scum in turn for that of three noble beasts is fair, is it not?" He sounded as if he doubted his own remark.
Aloyoshenka lifted his blade up next to her neck. He stared into her eyes. "Choose beast, what will it be?"

Fang had a kind of instinct that nobody would listen to that statement and take it seriously. "I could." he replied coldly and twirled his blade. "You've been rather...rude and annoying far too long. Now you can either one, get lost, or two, get killed by this pine marten-" he motioned to Aloyoshenka, "-get killed by one of the wildcats, or get killed by me. Which is it going to be?"
I have no no of you, nor does any other beast. You have nothing to give me and it is no loss to me if I kill you. The life of one scum in turn for that of three noble beasts is fair, is it not? the male marten said somewhat doubtfully. Fang growled deep in his throat.
"Show no mercy. It is fair that we kill her. Do not doubt what you said. It is too easy for a vermin to beg mercy and you to spare it."
He snarled again. "And then, they kill you."

"My parents? Why do you torment me with the past wildcat?"
Zayanya glared coldly into the misted eyes of the pine martin.
"I do not torture you Lysistra, I just tell you the truth. It's is your own guilt that pains you." ____________________________________________________
"I apologize in such a case, Howeva', I will suggest tha' perhaps yah confuse character with... eh, culture. 'appy?"
Zayanya stared Estlin down, her green eyes piercing his aqua ones.
"Really? I would never expect those words to come out of your mouth. And I certainly don't confuse you with culture. Your snotty nose gives it away!" She said, looking at him with the deepest loathing. ____________________________________________________

Zayanya stared at Lysistra as she pleaded for her life. She listened to the question poised by Aloyoshenka and the doubt in his tone. Then Fang's comment made her rethink the situation. She looked Lysistra straight in the eye and said,
"Fang's statement is fairly true, isn't it Lysistra? You want the chance to run. You fear the strength you may have turned against you. A beast right now hunts for your blood. You don't really want another one do you? Answer Aloyoshenka Lysistra, but think hard about your answer if you want to wake up next dawn."

Lysistra stumbled forward as Estlin pushed her from behind. She found herself face to face with Aloyoshenka. There was a look of bewildered rage on his face.
"What the... What do you want from me? What do you want from me? You kill Innocent beasts and then are coward enough to refuse to fight me face to face. You lead a horde, you act tough, ruthless. And now you try to twist me with your poison?"
Lysistra pondered this remark. She should have killed less beasts in her life. It seemed like their children always knew where to find her. She stood in silence as Aloyoshenka went on.
"I have no no of you, nor does any other beast. You have nothing to give me and it is no loss to me if I kill you. The life of one scum in turn for that of three noble beasts is fair, is it not?"
Lysistra began to regain confedece as she noticed the dout in Aloyoshenka's voice. But Fang's voice was hard as steel...
"Show no mercy. It is fair that we kill her. Do not doubt what you said. It is too easy for a vermin to beg mercy and you to spare it. And then, they kill you."
Lysistra gulped in fear as the blade was put to her throat.
"Choose beast, what will it be?"
Lysistra trembled all over. She lowered her head, staring at the ground. It was getting hard for her to think about the question with every-beast looking at her and a sword at her neck. Then, she made her decision. She raised her head, looking straight into Aloyoshenka's eyes. "Your right," she said, "this isn't a fair fight. Because I am going to kick your uptight backside into the middle of next season!" With amazing speed she swung her sword at his face, then, with the grace of a dancer, she spun in a complete circle and slashed at his legs.

Lysistra gulped and trembled. Aloyoshenka watched anxiously never taking his eyes off of her. Aloyoshenka was waiting for something. Suddenly she swung. This was what he has been expecting. She needed more than one minute to be transformed from her evil ways. She couldn't repent under this pressure.
"Oh well," muttered Aloyoshenka as he ducked backward gracefully. In one swift movement with an expert show of strength he jumped to avoid the next attack and returned to his normal standing position. He winced after putting pressure on his foot paw and looked down. A small pool of blood was forming around his left foot. The foot that left the ground last when he jumped must have been nicked by the blade. He grunted slightly in pain then looked up watching for her next attack.

(shortie)
Lysistra looked down at the small pool of blood forming around Aloyoshenka's foot-paw and grinned. At the sight of the blood she gained confidence. She felt powerful. She would strike down this pitiful excuse for a pine-marten like those before him. She began circling him, looking for an opening. "I will chop you up, bit by bit," she hissed. Then she lunged at Aloyoshenka, trying to run him right through the middle.

((Here comes my new mini-monster, Solitude Fleetclaw. XD))
Fang, who had been pondering something, was startled out of his reverie by the female pine marten's shout. Quickly, he looked at her and the male and was startled to see that there was a spreading pool of blood around the male's footpaw.
I will chop you up, bit by bit.
Fang stepped forward, sword at the ready, but before he could do anything, a cold and mildly annoyed sounding voice echoed from amidst the trees bordering the area, where he had first hidden when the female wildcat called him out. He turned, after glimpsing Lysistra's strike at the male pine marten with the blade.
"Please...allow me." it said, and Fang was startled to see the voice was coming from a tall stoat emerging from the brush.
Solitude Fleetclaw the stoat narrowed his icy-blue eyes, which were glinting in the dying, bloodred light of the sun-a perfect time for killing. Ignoring everybeast but the female marten, he slowly walked up to her.
A smirk creased the stoat's face, overiding the frown usually pasted onto it. One arm flashed down, drawing the long, thin blade and hard steel handle of a kilij, which was then pointed at the female marten's back, with enough force to show that he was capable of killing her with one sharp thrust.
The smirk stayed there, cold and bitter, and as if guessing the thoughts of the group, he spoke. "You may call me Fleet." he said carefully, a hint of ice tainting the words.
Fang frowned, but decided to let this strange stoat handle the female marten. He needed a break anyway.

Aloyoshenka dodged to avoid her attacks. For one second it looked as if he would make it. But all of a sudden his movement grew shaky. He faltered as soon as he tried to get away from her lunge. That move was deadly. He had seemingly underestimated the seriousness of his foot wound. He stumbled right into the place that she was aiming for. With a cry of pain he fell to the ground with her sword through him. For a few agonizing moments he lay writhing on the ground in unbearable pain. He was loosing to much blood. He needed a healer or he would die. The last thing he saw through half lidded eyes was a stoat threatening the female marten. Aloyoshenka coughed, a sound that was painful to listen to, and smiled grimly. Maybe she would get what was coming to her after all. Suddenly all went black. He was oblivious to everything going on around him. To anybeasts passing by, he looked dead. It seemed hopeless. Very likely, he was gone. (He has to be healed of course. I'm not going to let him die like this! )

Lysistra smirked as she drew her blade from Aloyoshenka. It made a delightful squelching noise as it passed through layers of muscle and flesh. As Aloyoshenka collapsed in pain Lysistra bent down close to him and whispered, "Goodbye. You better hope the beasts in the dark forest like you more than the beasts in this world did."
The fur on the back of Lysistra's neck pricked up when she heard the scrape of a blade being drawn behind her back. She whirled around to face the newcomer, her sword at the ready.
"You may call me Fleet."
"I have never heard the name," Lysistra said angrily, "why do you bother me?" She lifted her sword, crossing it with Fleet's. "Well mate," she said with a smile, "if you want a fight, you got it. You'll end up just like him," she pointed at Aloyoshenka, "dead." Then she jumped to the side of Fleet's sword, slashing at his side.

"Your right, this isn't a fair fight. Because I am going to kick your uptight backside into the middle of next season!"
Zayanya watched as the two pine martin's went at each other. She saw in her minds eye the real fight going on. She saw Lysistra's fear and urge to live clash with Aloyoshenka's pain of loss and desire of revenge. The two slashed and parried at each other. Aloyoshenka got scraped on the paw and it caused him to falter at a crucial moment. Lysistera's blade cut deep into his middle. Zayanya flinched as she felt his life blood ebb away as he screamed out in pain. _________________________________________________ "Goodbye. Zayanya watched as Lysistra jumped at the new comer. Zayanya could tell, as she looked at the new stoat, that Solitude Fleetclaw could handle Lysistra enough so that Zayanya could do her job.
Completely ignoring everybeast she hurried over to Aloyoshenka as he slipped into unconsciousness. She took some herbs and a strip of cloth out of a pocket of her dress and whispered gently into the pine martin's ear. " Today is not your dying day Aloyoshenka. Take this in and breathe slowly. You shall live if you have the strength."
She then pressed the herd to the wound and held the bandage to his side. She then picked a leaf off of a plant in her garden and squeezed the juices into Aloyoshenka's mouth for him to sallow.

Solitude smirked evilly as Lysistra swung at his side with the blade. With amazing speed, the stoat leaned to the side, dodging the deadly weapon, before whipping around to swing viciously at Lysistra with his kilij.
Out of the corner of his eye, the stoat watched Zayanya tend to the prone form of the male marten while the black-and-blue weasel knelt to the ground, examining the patient. With an evil smirk, the stoat whipped the kilij at Lysistra's head, neck, and then legs.
(Short, nothing much to say.)

Lysistra jumped back to avoid Fleet's frenzied slashes. Then she came forward again, stabbing at his chest. She was beginning to lose her temper. What had seemed like simple raid on a quite woodland house had turned into a run-in with all kinds of enemies. "All of you will die," she said viciously, her teeth barred, "not one will leave this clearing alive!" To the side she saw several beasts attending to Aloyoshenka. "Don't let him live," she shrieked, "kill them Gutfang!" Gutfang nodded and rushed at the small group from behind. He brought down his axe towards the back of Fang's head...
