(( Ooc: Whoa! Hold your horses there dyrisk! I know Merce does that from time to time, but he does get hurt (see the "In the darkness of night" thread in the library). And not all of us are doing that! Renny is almost ready to feint after being attacked if you recall. Danju also has just started his fight. If you are skilled enough you will not get hurt in the first 5 seconds of a fight. So calm down! Most of our characters, including yours, have been fighting for a few years and aren't going to get hurt every move. So watch the accusations matey! I don't believe we are being all too bad roll-models to the newbies.
Plus, Bethy...It's your turn to post.....))

(You really don't get it, do you?
I've read the posts on this site. Merce's character, Merce Whitedeath, seems to be ridiculously overpowered. )

(OK, ok I get the point. I just lost my temper a little when you shot everybody in the clearing within about a minute. I will redo my post, but it will take a little while.)

"Ungrateful, eh? I came along and started to fight your enemies to HELP you, and all you can do is complain? All right then."
Silenis gasped with shock as she saw him aim the bow at Renny. She ran at Renny and shoved him out of the way, the arrow missed. Then Dyrisk aimed at her. The arrow flew threw the air. She couldn't stop it. It seemed like hours till it reached her. But the time was so short she didn't have time to move. The arrow hit her close to the heart. She was in to much pain to cry out. She collapsed to the ground. She turned her head painfully to look up at Dyrisk with a look of utter disgust. If looks could kill... She spat out a few words to him as her energy begin to fade, "You traitor. Even if you were going to help us I wouldn't have a coward and a turn-coat like you on my side." With that she fell on the ground and the Katina slipped from her limp paw. She looked at Renny as if to say to was sorry. A single tear fell from her blue eyes to the dusty ground.

"Ungrateful, eh? I came along and started to fight your enemies to HELP you, and all you can do is complain? All right then."Renaud watched as the fox fired arrows at them. One was aimed for the female white weasel, but the male weasel cut it in half, S'ow off. Renny thought, but that thought quickly left his mind as an arrow whizzed through the air, right for his chest. Renny's mind blanked as he watched the arrow came closer and he didn't have the energy to move. Before the arrow hit him, Renny felt a hard shove from his left. He fell to the ground as the arrow whisked neatly over his head. Renny rolled over and looked up and saw the female otter who saved him earlier. Why did she keep doing this? Renny thought to himself, but again the thought left his mind as soon as it cames as an arrow hit the female otter close to the heart. "NAWWW!!!" Renny roared as the otter fell, dropping his Katana. A new found strength rushed into Renny was he scrambled over to the otter's side to her her whisper to the fox... "You traitor. Even if you were going to help us I wouldn't have a coward and a turn-coat like you on my side."Renny was where the arrow had pierced her close to the heart. It had not hit the heart and Renny saw that if he worked fast, he could remove the arrow and save her. The otter looked up apologetically to Renny. She was in a lot of pain. Renny stroked her fur whispering to her. " 'Old on matey! Please 'old on! Ah can save ye if ye can be a 'oldin' on!" A lone tear ran down the otter's face as Renny looked around him desperately, Luckily his bag of supplies, from where the stoats had been playing with it was near by. Renny grabbed the satchel and pulled out a vile of dockleaf poultice he had made a while back and a bandage. He gently whispered to the otter. " "old on mate. Dis will 'urt a bit, but ye 'ave ta be strong like ah knaw ye are.." Renny then firmly gripped the arrow and snapped the shaft. Gently, but firmly he pulled the arrow head from the wound. It was deep, but it had not pierced any major blood streams or organs. Renny immediately applied the vile of poultice and put the bandage to it, tightening it with a twist, hold it firmly. Renny again began to whisper to the otter. "It's gonna be alsrig't now. Gots the arrer out. Just breat'e naw..Breat'e...." "Yes, I did miss, but your luck will run out otter, and then I will eat your flesh!"Danju twisted his dagger to catch the sword at his legs, but completely forgot about the other paw and got hit right in the face. Pain swelled through Danju's face as he wobbled around form the blow. Thankfully the wobbling made him accidentally dodged the arrow heading his way, but he once his vision cleared, he didn't care that he had been shot at. He opened his eyes to watch a arrow pierce the female otter and her fall to the ground. This made Danju REALLY MAD! How could he do that! Why did they all die? Why?!?! Why?!?! WHY!!!!!!!??!!!!!!Danju began to breath hard through the bloody nose he had received form the punch. He turned to face the weasel, dreaded hate pouring into his eyes, and a tear coursing down his cheek. Danju re-gripped his dirk as a small sword and let lose his family's battle cry. "WILDLOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Danju then charged the weasel with a roar, his blade slashing down upon the weasel's face. "EEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" This was no longer play time. These vermin had over stepped their bound, and they were going to pay.......

Anubis, having little better to do, simply watched the white weasel male roll under his first arrow and slash the second in half. The canine's stormy gray orbs took this all in without comment as he ignored Danju and Verusha and watched his foe's swords come slashing at him in an x.
The canid pulled up his saber sharply to deflect the blows, but only succeeded in blocking one; the other slipped away from his saber and bit into his outstretched arm. Anubis pulled the arm down and away from his foe's blade, but even so, the other weapon had left a good-sized cut etched into the flesh. Without a wince, the fox ignored the throbbing pain and raised the saber.
He then aimed a multitude of slashes at the figure of his enemy before stabbing his saber at the weasel's stomach. Clenching the fist of his injured arm - the one not holding the blade - he attempted to give his foe a strong, sharp punch in the jaw before retreating a few steps to survey the damage.
Of course, he was still at risk on the ground. His eyes roved over the landscape, coming to rest on a large pine tree with thick branches. The canid dashed over to it, and was about to pull himself up into its thick foliage when he heard a voice and turned around.
One of his arrows had found its mark in the chest of the female otter, and she was staring at him with disgust. Anubis could almost literally see her life energy fading as the wound from the arrow sapped her strength.
You traitor. Even if you were going to help us I wouldn't have a coward and a turn-coat like you on my side.
Anubis turned slowly, his gray orbs burning like coals into her blue eyes. "Perhaps I am a traitor." he replied slowly. "No. I know for a fact I am a traitor." He seemed to contemplate this a second. "And it would be wise for you to realize that help is help. You should be glad that I even bothered and next time - if there is a next time - make sure you are not so disrespectful, riverdog."
With that, the fox began to scale the tree, his claws seeking grips in the ridges and furrows of the bark as he pulled himself up farther into the foliage. His natural speed got him up rather quickly onto a thick pine branch missing most of its needles that still served to support him and gave him a clear range and view of the creatures down below, but he heard the shout before he reached the perch.
NAWWW!!!
Rubbing at his injured arm, the fox took advantage of his safe place to rip off a strip of fabric from his cape. He wrapped it tightly around the sword cut to staunch the bleeding, found some still-sticky sap oozing from the tree trunk, and proceeded to stick the two ends of the fabric together with it so the cloth wouldn't fall off his arm. Once he had done that, he looked back down to the scene of the battle.
One of the male otters - a sea otter, in fact - was crouched down next to the injured female, attempting to save her life. Anubis let out a short barking laugh and took his bow out, selecting one of the score or so arrows left in his quiver.
WILDLOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all, though, before he made his shot, the canid looked down to the rather crazy otter, who had made a dangerous slash down at the female white weasel's face with his blade. Anubis smirked and let them duel it out.
He placed the arrow on the bow and sighted down to Renny and Silenis. Drawing the string back, he let the arrow fly at the male sea otter. Hopefully, he wouldn't see it coming, as all of his attention was focused on the female otter. Quickly, the canine strung another arrow and let that one fly at Renny too.
Now he would focus a killing fire on Silenis Wildlough, the otter who had called him a traitor. Selecting his sharpest arrow, the fox set it on the bow and aimed down at his newest unfortunate prey.
He released the arrow after he stretched the string back and watched it fly at his target. Within the span of a minute he had sent three more down at the otter and had put his bow away. Clearing his throat, he took it upon himself to speak. Stormy eyes roved over the battlers.
"You'll all end up paving the way for me to Hellgates if you don't clear out now." he snarled warningly, pointing his bow at the woodlands. "However, I'm afraid that female river-dog is going to have to die. This is your last chance to go, or I'll kill you here - optionally, I can hunt you down too. Your choice."
