OOC: Glavy, could you not be so Mary-Sue please, it makes it hard to rp lol.
"Not that sssssssoon, otter."
When his blade smashed into the monitor and bounced off the armor Rogg nearly screamed out loud. What was up with the stupid armor?? Rogg hated opponents who wore armor (even though the otter wore armor himself) because it actually gave them a fighting chance. Now he would have to find the weakness in the defense and exploit it. Yes, actually it would be that soon lizard. The young otter that he probably should, (as he was not wearing his armor) use form IV sword combat, an extremely fast form with minimal physical damage to it's target. He flourished his sword and went into the low form IV fighting stance, sword still in the reverse grip.
That was when the monitor slashed at Rogg. This fool, the mercenary otter jumped back, avoiding the blade and the clawing paw. Now that he could actually see, the monitor had no chance of survival. There was no time for chit-chat, the big otter executed a quick slash from the right side at the monitor's unprotected throat and followed with a strike from the right and an overhead smash. This foolishness must end soon....
[We should have a sword lock with some dramatic dialog]

(( You two stop arguing! Glavy isn't a Mary-Sue and Rogg it's ok, if you feel that way then post around it. Don't make me put you two in separate corners! So get along and laugh at Renny's uselessness in this situation.))
Renny was really in a dilemma now. He had left his prisoner alone and it escaped. His buddy, who was doing all the fighting in a rage, had a decent wound in the neck and Renny was left at the side lines unable to do anything.
Renny ran over and grabbed his belt and lashed it back on. That idea wasn't going to work again. He thought. He bundled his cloak in his pack and tossed his satchel over to his spot near the dying fire. He knew if fighting was what it came down to, his cloak would only halter his movements.
Renny circled the fight. waiting for a spot to jump in. Maybe he could turn the tide of the fight with a 2 against 1. He watched as Rogg struck out at the lizard's front, side, and head. So Renny ran a lept aiming a stunning blow to the neck with the hilt of his blade. If Rogg was this strong about killing this creature, he could do it, but Renny wanted to feel helpful. His Father taught him never to turn his back on a friend's battle, he wasn't going to let Rogg down...

((I don't want dramatic dialogue! That's in all the stupid movies. O.o No offense, of course, but it's kind of dumb when the good and bad guys have this huge conversation. XD))
The otter dodged both of Azalea's blows with apparent ease. With a hiss of frustration, the scaly lizard watched the otter prepare for what he obviously thought would be the finishing blow. First, Rogg slashed quickly at her throat. With a hiss of surprise, she moved backward as fast as she could, but not quickly enough to avoid the blade, which traced a thin red line across her throat. Then the otter whipped his blade around, striking at her right side. Luckily, the blade clanged against her armor-the next thing she knew, the blade was coming down at her head again, faster and stronger this time.
Azalea had no time to react. She threw up her longsword, but didn't have enough time to tense up her strength to completely block the blow-Rogg's blade edge clanged on the flat of her sword, sending it slamming into her head. Blackness overwhelmed the monitor's vision for a moment, but quickly vanished. Looking madder than ever, the monitor straightened up-
-only to be smashed in the neck with the hilt of Renny's blade. She choked, gasping for air, and fell, smashing into the ground with a hard smashing sound. Looking up at the otters, she snarled, still taking air into her lungs frantically. She struggled up and moved back a few paces, only to fall over again, this time against the trunk of a tree.

OOC: Sokay lol!
Rogg was happy that he had scored hits on the lizard, but still she was alive, and that was not acceptable. He was about to thrust at the monitor's face when wilted under Renny's blow. Yes, this was what Rogg lived for, the end of the battle, the dramatic finishing move, the screams of the defeated, the new kill to notch on his sword, this was the best. He in front of the vanquished monitor. How should he finish her? Rip her armor off and pin her to the tree? She did have thick scales and it might be necessary to use a few slices, so maybe he should go with a dagger in her skull, but that was used to often. He could not think of it any more, the big otter walked over to the monitor and kicked out at her. If she would fall down Rogg would raise his blade above his head and strike down, attempting to pin her to the ground....

Renny slammed his blade on the lizard's neck. He watched it fall. It was defeated from the combined onslaught. Renny watched as it tried to breathe and retaliate, but it was down for the count. It scrambled against a tree, trying to put up a good show for it's self.
It was then when Rogg stepped forward. He seemed happy watching the lizard defeated. Renny could only imagine what was running through his mind as Rogg tried to kick at it. Renny then realized what Rogg was going to do and he put his blade down. Rogg was a mercenary. It was in his blood to kill, no matter who it was.
Renny looked into the pained eyes of the lizard. It looked brave was it snarled out at them, but he could tell by the bodily injuries that it took that it must be in serious pain. Renny took a deep breath and looked away. He couldn't...he couldn't....He reached out as if to grab Rogg's arm to get his attention. He then spoke to Rogg memories flooding his mind.
"Matey...Ah kanw t'woald nay be a rig't ta let a killin' beast loose..even if dey be a injured...but...ah can't...ye da w'at ye must..but mate.......tell ma naw if ye 'ave ta kill t'is un...ah' nay want ta watch.....ah could n'er kill a inured beast....tell ma naw mate sa ah want 'ave ta look...."

The paw which kicked out at Azalea could have been easily avoided, but she was too weak and it knocked her over. The otter instantly came in for the kill, blade raised to plunge into her flesh. She hissed once and closed her eyes.
Matey...Ah kanw t'woald nay be a rig't ta let a killin' beast loose..even if dey be a injured...but...ah can't...ye da w'at ye must..but mate.......tell ma naw if ye 'ave ta kill t'is un...ah' nay want ta watch.....ah could n'er kill a inured beast....tell ma naw mate sa ah want 'ave ta look...
This statement triggerred some hidden reserve of energy in her core which rushed through her battered body. The monitor instantly rolled out of the way of the piercing knife and leapt up. Her yellow eyes radiated anger, hate, and the need to kill these worthless riverdogs in front of her who had almost cost her her life. The eyes of a predator. They burned into Renny's with a hatred so intense they seemed to spark with fire, and then into Rogg's with the same intensity.
The heavy, scaled tail flicked easily from left to right. "You have sssssssurrendered your livesssssss." she hissed fiercely, the yellow eyes still smoldering with hate. "It isssss time that you die. Thisssss isssss no longer a matter of food."

This otter Renny, obviously had never taken a life in malice before. But it was time that Renaud found out what mercenaries did to the vanquished foes. The naive otter must not have known what it was like to take a life for credits. Rogg never exactly killed for the joy of it, but for the joy of easy credits. But this kill was not for credits, it was in self defense. This thought struck the mercenary otter with the power of a shark crashing into a seal, his face took on a surprised expression, Rogg was not fighting the lizard for fun or for treasure, he was defending Renny and himself, not a common occurrence with the big otter. But anyway, it was time to show Redaud how to kill a helpless creature.
The mercenary otter thrust down, a dark look upon his bewhiskered face. Then the monitor did something unexpected; it rolled out of the way. Rogg had seen this desperate tactic before, so he quickly withdrew his blade and went into a Vaapad fighting stance. The otter locked eyes with the angry lizard, he clenched his left paw and gripped his sword tighter. This would be a short, secondary battle.
"You have sssssssurrendered your livesssssss." she hissed fiercely, the yellow eyes still smoldering with hate. "It isssss time that you die. Thisssss isssss no longer a matter of food."
For food? What a fool the monitor was. Did she not know that otter has very fishy flesh? Rogg did not smile, this thought did not amuse him. Did she really think that she could defeat Rogg Streambattle the assassin? He had already defeated her but now she was up again. This was a spunky one. Rogg glanced over at Renny, giving him a look that said: be ready. Then he spoke in a soft, low voice to the monitor pointing an accusing paw at her. "If you really think that, then you are a fool" It was now time to end the lizards foolish little life. The otter tightened every muscle in his big body, ready to strike the first blow. Then he moved fast as lightning, taking a long step forward he delivered a roundhouse slash aimed right at the monitor's scaly head...

When Renny spoke, his mind flooded with memories of his home. The many battles he had fought in.....They were battles of defence....he had a reason to kill....he was defending others...but when it came time to finish the job with the surrendered virmen...Renny always came up with an excuse to get away......to help with the wounded or something....he couldn't watch useless bloodshed...........
But now Rogg looked into his eyes. Renny knew what he was going to do. Rogg jumped at the defenseless lizard, as if to take it's life. Renny looked away, but but a flash of green scales made him look back..The lizard took a desperate measure to save it's life by rolling away from the strike. It jumped up. From where the lizard found the energy, Renny did not know, but it glared into his eyes. Hatred seemed to flow from it's heart, it's only desire now...to kill the ones who had almost defeated it.
"You have sssssssurrendered your livesssssss." she hissed fiercely, the yellow eyes still smoldering with hate. "It isssss time that you die. Thisssss isssss no longer a matter of food."
Renny quickly glanced over at Rogg, the otter's eyes telling him a battle was coming. Renny brought his blade up again, standing with his blade up at his side, ready to strike or defend, which ever came first. Renny would be able to take a life in battle, but not a one sided fight. If this Lizard would fight, Renny would fight.
"If you really think that, then you are a fool"
Rogg spoke with malice and charged the lizard recklessly. Renny kept light on his "toes". And leaped around the other side of the lizard. Trying to keep it penned toward the water. He was sure a lizard of this bulk would not be able to swim, so if they could keep the fight near the river bank, all would work out well for the otters. But, Renny would not attack the lizard first. He kept "dancing" around. Waiting for the next move.

If you really think that, then you are a fool.
Azalea glared defiance at Rogg as the river otter stepped forth swiftly and swung his blade at her head. Reflexively, the lizard's sword paw shot up, holding the longsword and blocking the blow with her newfound power before she leapt backward. She raised her sword, anticipation of the final kill taking her. But she wasn't overly reckless as she glimpsed Renny.
He was dancing around, looking like a complete idiot; the monitor ignored him and stabbed at Rogg with the blade.
(Sorry for the short post, I have to go)

Wow, this monitor certainly did have strong claws, the way she deftly blocked his razor sharp blade was strange, she did not even seem to care about the pain. What the frell was Renny doing? It looked like the other otter was dancing. It mattered not what Renny did, Rogg still concentrated all of his warrior skill and power at the monitor. Maybe Renny would join the fray soon. Then the monitor came back and stabbed at Rogg. The mercenary otter took the action in stride and smoothly deflected the attack, then countered with a devastating flurry of slashes aimed at the lizard's vital zones; her head, her chest and her powerful legs. The monitor's power could not compare with the fluid skill of Rogg Streambattle, the mercenary.... OOC: sorry it's so short

(( Thanks for waiting....so fellas!..how are we going to end this fight?))
Renny realized that his bouncing around might look rather stupid, but he didn't know what else to do! He watched the fight ensued. The lizard slashed at Rogg's side and Rogg deflected it perfectly. Rogg then when in for the kill with wicked fast strokes.
Renny wasn't sure whether he should jump in or not. He stopped jumping around when he was behind the lizard, ready to take a strike at the lizard's unprotected back in case Rogg couldn't do his job, but it looked like he was doing fairly well....
(( Short post as well....Renny just needs a spot to do something...he's stumped right now....))

((@rogg-You've been dodging all my attacks. You need to get hit-otherwise it's not fair to me. I got injured a ton, and you got injured once.))
Azalea saw the purpose in the otter's eyes before he started the flurry of slashes aimed at her-she leapt backward as the first stroke split the air, backing up to attempt to dodge the blows. She wasn't fast enough, however-several of the strong sword strokes met with her scales, drawing lines and points of blood. No serious damage occured-her scales were tough enough that the lighter blows didn't do much damage.
Ignoring Renny, she hissed furiously and lunged slowly forward, her blade aimed at Rogg's chest, before bringing it back and lashing out at Rogg with a heavily clawed paw.
She growled, lashing her tail around and glaring at the mercenary/assassin otter who was completely beating her-the first time ever.

Rogg Streambattle was in his element. The hatred for the lizard flowed through the otter, giving him strength, giving him power. His short sword became an extension of his webbed paw. Even though the intense anger, he still moved with grace, flourishing his blade with every attack. This is what the mercenary was born to do; sword fight, and he loved it. Rogg could tell that the battle was tilting in his favor, the monitor was looking more and more tired every strike Rogg made. But that still did not matter, the young otter must remember that one mistake could turn the battle away from his favor.
Then the monitor stabbed at Rogg's unprotected chest. He jumped back, but he was not quick enough to escape the keen point of the monitor's blade entirely and it scored a small gash in the front of his chest. That did not matter. 'Pain is an emotion that must be suppressed' he told himself. The otter brought his blade down preventing more damage from the attacking weapon. But before he could react the monitor's deadly claw smashed into the side of his muzzle, the force of the blow angered Rogg even more, he spit out blood and started shaking from sheer anger. He stopped his attack for a moment and poured out his wrath verbally on the lizard. "You stupid tralk!! Do you really think that you can defeat me?!? I have never been defeated in battle!! There is no hope for you to survive this encounter!! If you keep this up, it will be your last sunrise!!".....

"You stupid tralk!! Do you really think that you can defeat me?!? I have never been defeated in battle!! There is no hope for you to survive this encounter!! If you keep this up, it will be your last sunrise!!"..... Renny shook his head. Rogg was an O.K. beast, but he was indeed a bit hard-headed when it came to losing. (( It's not at you personally Rogg, just the way he responded is all..you still cool! )) The battle was getting rough. Devastating blows were made on both sides. Renny didn't like it, but he didn't know what to do! He couldn't get involved now! The battle was too intense. Renny gripped his sword tighter, wincing at the blows that cut deep into the flesh. What could he do? (( Hey guys! Short post because Renny can do much while you two are fighting.))

The lizard swung her scaled tail, eyes burning with rage and fixed easily on the form of the mercenary otter. An eerie grin split her muzzle, and the long claws flexed easily, showing their dangerous shining white tips.
Renny was still standing there like an idiot; Azalea ignored him and, with a lash of her tail, launched herself at Rogg with a vicious snarl, claws flexing and reaching out to tear into the torso of the river otter before they withdrew and lashed out at his face and arms.
Her diamond-hard, gray-green scales didn't even glint in the half-light of the sunset. The smoke had all but completely disappated and she could see and fight effectively again.

Rogg was nearly consumed by the anger and hate directed at the lizard and it clouded his vision, making the mercenary otter's site into a dark tunnel centered on the monitor. He did not care if his attacker responded to his shouts, on with the fighting he thought. This was one of the longest battles that the young otter had fought in quite some time and he was getting tired, but the hate kept him on his paws. Rogg's instincts told him that the battle would be over soon though, he could last another few minutes, yes, just a few more moments and it would be over.
As the monitor charged, Rogg inhaled deeply and readied himself for the impact of the lizard colliding with him. But she did not run into the young otter, she attacked the otter with her claws. He did not expect this, creatures going up empty-pawed against the mercenary were a rarity and he did not know how to respond for a split second. He reacted with pure reflex, no thought, and brought up his left arm to block the blow that was incoming. Then he remembered that he was not wearing armor. Oh yotz. The mercenary otter gave a enraged growl as the sharp claws tore into his flesh, blood sprayed out, and he grabbed at his wounded arm, mouth hanging open as he stared at the blood pouring from the wound. He nearly forgot about the lizard but then the young otter instinctively raised his blade to deflect one clawed attack only to feel the pain of the other claw biting into the other side of his chest. This was not good, if he did not attack her very promptly, he might not survive. The monitor was too close to use his sword to it's full power so he grabbed his stiletto from the back of his belt with his left paw while at the same time yelling at Renny. "Attack!!! Attack!!!" The young otter then raised his dagger and plunged it down at the top of the monster's head, hopefully the monitor did not inflict more damage before her life was ended with a dagger in her skull....

Renny still stood watching the battle ensue. He watched as the Lizard attacked Rogg. Rogg wasn't fairing very well now. Renny then convinced himself, ok...now was the time to jump in as Rogg brought out a knife and tried to drive it into the Lizard's skull yelling at him.
"Attack!!! Attack!!!"
Renny ran forward. He couldn't yet Rogg die. With his Katana in his left paw, Renny charged toward the Lizard's side. He lept into the air, his blade aimed to sweep down along the under side of the Lizard's arm and down it's side. He then lept back beside Rogg, his blade ready to par any attack that was aimed him or Rogg.
Memories flooded Renny's mind was he stood beside Rogg, his blade at the ready. His mind thought back to the fights at his Holt. Him standing the same way he was now, but beside his father, fending off all attackers. The fire of battle began to tingle through his veins. If this Lizard would fight, then killing was completely necessary. He gripped his blade tighter as his mind came back to reality, ready to face any blow from this opponent.
