Shadowsleek rubbed her shoulder and sneered "one more pat on my back and ill make sure you dont have a head, foxey" she sneered with a squint of her eyes. Shadowsleek notied there wide archs and looked up at both Midnightmoon and Airswipe, through bared teeth she hissed "where on our way, unless of course...." she flicked her head towards the walking away vermin. The black weasel looked at there backs, to noble for there words, if those fools dared even hung one moment with a sarcastic rmeark and a paw on her back, she would make sure that paw would be a necklace. She snorted at the word "several allies" she doubt that one. Yet she held her temper greatly, for all she new she would come back and rob them, that would settle those big mouths.

The fox reeled back as he herd the weasel and her several scoffs and snorts. "Whats funny, weasel? You dont believe me? Huh? Maybe you'll believe that I have allies, now, eh?" He whistled a piercing whistle, and soon, aftr a minute or two, a heavily tatooed fox with a bow and quiver full of black fletched arrows came bounding onto the scene, "This weasel scum bothering you, Spring? Shall I kill her? I can put two arrows in her before she blinks." The new arrival said pleadingly, "No Zephyr. Not yet. Don't waster your arrows on scum. It's not worth it." He growled, then turned back to the ferret brothers. Then he called, "I'll meet you there, Omri." Then turned back, with Zephyr next to him, "Oh, and whats this about no head? I can kill you before you can move your blade. Do not test me, weasel."

Airswipe glared at the new arrival, another fox, another little meal dancing around they he couldn't clamp his beck on. The threat angered him greatly, why this little fox was making fun of his guardian and calling her and "IT" while the other had bows ready, now being savage enough, he didn't take things like that "move ONE bow and ill make sure BOTH of your tails will be a necklace and ill grind your bones! shoot her, go ahead, then well see if you like talons ripping through you" he made a sqauking laugh "i sure hope that little knife of yours can chop off a head, then nothing would be stopping me from getting to you, vermin earth crawler"

"Man! You really need to work on insults." Springheel snapped up at the falcon. "One move, bird scum, and I'll put an arrow in your neck before you bat a wing." Zephyr growled. "I see you dont like your scummy friend being reffered to as it, eh? Well, IT is very annoying. IT will be killed one day by me, if it threatens me again. IT is obssessed with birds." Springheel would've ranted more, but Zephyr calmed him down. "Let's leave IT to sqwawk with IT'S scum of the skies." The archer fox patted Springheel on the back, then headed for the retreating ferrets.

Midnightmoon lost it completely he barely could think except two words " kill foxes " At lightning speed he dived beck first at the fox with arrows who had his back turned, screeching "lets see if your fighting skills are as fast as your mouth!" His mind racing with the thought of blood and his beck opened wide for the foxes back

Shadowsleek barley mandigeted to yell "NO!" before the crow was upon the archer fox, well seeing that she couldn't just stand here watching him be on his own, she drew her sword and ran to Springheel, aiming a thrust of her sword right at his neck "lets play, foxey!" Her eyes where full of rage and hatred.

Zephyr stopped short and turned, and the crow slashed his chest, knocking a part of his leather cuirass off. "You really want to fight me? Alright! Let's dance, birdie!" with that, he drew his sword and hacked at the crow.
Springheel turned and crossed his arms in an 'X', and the sword crashed into his fur and leather gauntlets, not harming him. "Why do you attack me un-noticed? Are you afraid to fight me head-on?" He smiled like the devil, and his eyes filled a pinky color, and he drew his long dagger and growled, "LEt's fight."
Springheel would attack with his knife, and parry with his gauntlets. At least he had a strategy unlike these birds and this weasel, who seemed all talk. "You know what weasel, you'r all bark and no bite!" He slashed his knife in an arc, and when he did that, Zephyr sighed loudly, "Here! I can't fight with this!" He tossed springheel his blade, who nearly dropped his knife, and then pulled out his bow and fired off a shot at the crow.
Springheel sheathed his knife quickly and wielded the blade, "Fight like a true warrior."

Shadowsleek took a few steps back and smiled, giving a bow "as you wish, or would you rather fight someone with a real gender?" She stood stright form her bow and but her sword in front of her stiffly "i am no warrior, perhaps you dont know what a thief is? a vermin who plays tricks and could care less about being a "true warrior"" she gave a mocking smile and then it turned into a serious frown "i shall only defend myself against you, i will not attack" In her mind, she saw him as a clutz with weapons, this was his second fumble. She saw a bit of upper hand in that, yet she was no attacker or mad beast.

Midnightmoon jumped back against the sword hack, but the arrow hit him i nthe shoulder blade, seeing that Shadowsleek had the other fox, Midnightmoon made another slash with his talon, aiming for the foxes head.

Not in the least comforted by his brother's easy assurance of their 'escape', Dax was still troubled at the potential threats that they were openly exposing their backs to. Forcing down his own nervousness, he continued to follow his brother, believing that small encounter to have ended. He hesitated as to his dismay, the banter began anew between the belligerent weasel and the curious fox. He turned to watch them once more, wishing only that they could continue to be on their way, that there was no longer the moving shadow of that accursed crow to blot out the sun. He silently willed the fox to keep his peace, knowing that the situation had begun it's dangerous spiral once more, to a result that he had only a short time before committed himself to. Focusing with such intensity was not simply a thing that one could do at will nor on such short notice!
Despite this, the situation exploded with sudden ferocity. The crow dived for a new fox that, in his musings, Dax had failed to notice. The Weasel engaged the fox called Springheel in combat. Dax and his brother were not in any immediate danger, being some short distance away from the fighting as they were, out if immediate range. The first thought that blazed across his conscious was to take advantage of the confusion to flee. There was no point to giving in to fighting when your own life was not at stake. An immeasurable instant later the polar opposite of that thought push it's way to the forefront of his thinking. The fox Springheel was, though aided, still outnumbered. There was no way to be sure of his survival unless the brothers were to come and join the fight. The fox had been willing to do the same for the brothers, without any apparent regard to his own life, it seemed wrong to not return the favor.
The half-drawn throwing knife symbolized the confusion that was preventing Dax from taking a course of action with confidence. He glanced to his brother, who had always been more decisive. Dax would follow his decision on the matter at hand.

Angry Airswipe was, he perched himself upon a branch and watched the ferrets, he would not take place in this battle unless they came in, for his hearts desire was getting madder and madder as he grew older. If the ferrets joined the battle, so would he, and that was all his mind was set on. His orange eyes watched them from his branch. He was the more quiet type with sudden out bursts, but in really all he wanted was too fight, his muscles ached fro it.

Omri smirked at the Fox as he appeared after telling the weasel off again. He made a bit of a face as the fox listed his friends but he quickly hid it with a warmer smile, "No, and I'm sure you don't want to stay around these-" He found himself being interrupted by the shouting weasel, did she not understand that he had simply walked around her and continued on the path he was originally on? that he gotten exactly what his stubborn streak had wanted and still managed to avoid the obnoxious threats of the birds. He scowled as he turned his head to look at her.
Springheel was already responding while Omri was surveying the scene his fur bristled, he couldn't stand to listen to this weasel yap. He turned around fully to face the scene once more, he was moderately relaxed, annoyed yes, but it seemed like just a name calling battle so he wasn't too nervous. When the other fox appeared he did become a bit more wary and unsure. He watched each beast carefully wondering if one would start a physical attack.
When the crow finally dived down his casual stance quickly changed to a dangerously serious rigid one. His feet moved to keep his balance as he drew the weighty blade. he moved forward, closer the fray if he was needed there, but the two foxes seemed to have the crow and weasel under control at that moment. he left the crow, taking heart in the fact that his brother was much more experienced in the range weapon they both carried then he was.
He smirked as Springheel began to fight with Shadowsleek, but Omri wanted a bit of the excitement... and he'd had enough of the weasel. "Springheel, I dunno if it is much of a true warrior." yes he was trying to bait the weasel, not to disappoint the fox but if there was going to be a battle he wouldn't sit it out watching. However he stopped as the Weasel backed off and then proclaimed she was not fighting. Enraged at the hypocrisy and stupidity of this creature before him Omri moved forwards.
He appeared directly in front of her, Kukri in one paw and his other twitching at his side. "You." He growled, "are a hypocrite, an obnoxious little weasel that preaches peace because you can't fight. If all you are going to do is stand here and yap and yell and lecture get out of this little clearing because somebody is going to end up hurting you."

"May I have that honor?" Springheel called from behind Omri. "The honor of hurting her, for she has ticked me off greatly." He moved closer, smiling malisciously, then whispered, "Thanks for returning." Then he looked at the weasel, laughing as he did it, "You try to act fierce but then you preach peace. Make up your mind!" HE snapped. He leaned closer to Omri, "Ill be watching you, but Im sure you can take it in a fight. Ill watch if you need help. Ill help my friend." Then he raced to where Zephyr neatly dodged a swipe from a beak, and Springheellashed out with his paw, then muttered so low, only Zephyr could hear, "Shoot the falcon." Zephyr nodded. Springheel didn't like being the initiator in a fight, but he was sure the falcon would attack sooner or later, so why not let it be taken off guard?
Zephyr jumped back and in motion had an arrow on his string, and fired at the falcon, then fired another. "Now the weasel!" Springheel growled again. Zephyr nodded, and shot at the weasel, too.
While Zephyr was doing the shooting, Springheel hacked at the crow, then lashed out with his fist at the bird's beak, then lunged forward with the shortsword, seeking to end this birds life.

Shadowsleek jumped to the ground as the arrow wised over her head, cursing ludly she scrmapled away on four paws, running as fast as her feet would take her. Shadowsleek dare not look back as she ran, anger burning throguh her, she hated archers, they always threw cheap shots.

Airswipe jumped but two arrows caught him in the shoulder, screeching he flew himself towards Omri from behind, aiming to lift him in the air with his dangerous talons. Hate and anger where the only things he felt, why attack someone who didn't wish to fight? The cheap shooting archer would get his fury soon enough

His twin need not say a word. The distinct sound of the kukri as it was drawn from it's sheath rang clearly throughout the clearing. The call was replied in kind by his own weapon, the shortsword in his off-paw, leaving his right free to throw knives as they were needed. Dax followed his brother to the edge of the fight, following his lead. He hesitated as Omri, in an apparent, common, lack of logical reasoning, moved to confront the weasel. Dax watched as his brother threatened the cloaked one, his anger visible as he struggled to control it. It was times like this, when his brother was not thinking clearly, that Omri required Dax to stand back and observe the whole scene.
Dax did as he knew he should. Sheathing his shortsword, he crossed his arms and observed the scene, forsaking it temporarily in order to make full use of a deadlier one: his mind. He scrutinized the scene, taking into consideration the perched falcon that seemed to be pulsating agitation, the foxes who appeared to have their fight with the crow well in hand, and his brother, who would have no trouble with the weasel, by the looks of her, not to mention her actions.
He saw the arrows as they flew towards the falcon and weasel, saw the bird in question attempt to evade them but sustain a hit on it's thin shoulder. He saw it take flight, awkwardly, and launch screeching into a dive.
Focused on his brother.
He was in action before he could form a tangible thought. Breaking out into an all-out sprint, he raced towards his brother's wide back, easily gaining it before the rapidly accelerating falcon could complete it's dive. Several feet away, Dax took a flying leap, halting his forward motion by planting his footpaws vertically on the back of his brother, who, suddenly finding himself used as a wall, stumbled a few steps forward, his breath knocked out of him. Taking no heed to this, he gave a powerful kick off of his brother's back, propelling himself towards the approaching falcon. Finding a knife already in paw (He must have drawn it during his sprint), his arm whipped forward, sending the knife flying with incredible speed towards the falcon's uninjured shoulder.
Mind catching up to his actions, he thought to draw his shortsword, as he was still hurtling with considerable velocity towards the falcon, who was now at a speed considerable higher than his own.
His plan was simple, yet effective. The only tangible way to place himself in the way of the falcon's otherwise uninhibited sight of Omri would be to launch himself at the bird. His method of doing so had also pushed Omri several feet forward, which would require the falcon to alter it's flight-path slightly to compensate. Secondly, he needed to get the falcon to halt it's dive, for there was no conceivable way to amend a failed dive. They were one-shot moves. Causing the falcon to abandon the attempt and make a second would give Dax vital time to react and think of a better plan. The thrown knife solved this issue nicely. It was thrown in a way that, at the speed that both knife and falcon were traveling at, the falcon was left a short time to decide if it wanted to take another injury that would, potentially, inhibit further flight or dive to the side and make another attempt. Either way, the falcon would be slowed down, and at the time of the impact, a mere few feet above Omri. The falcon would be within easy range of Dax's shortsword.

((tis my first long post XD))
Shadowsleek stopped dead and took a breath not so far from the scene, she knew birds as falcons where only good at surprise attacks and killing when the enemy or pray doesn't know what was coming, they weren't good a duels. If she kept running the birds had a better chance of dieing, and going back meant that words weren't useful in the situation. She stood up and dusted herself off, she knew the only solution, a duel. The words rang threw her head like wedding bells, she knew she would have to do it, vermin beast or not.
Yet who to fight? The easiest? No, they where all seasoned warriors, but the fox with the bows was nothing without the bows, still, that wouldn't be satisfying. The other fox? the fur wasnt fair, all her rare hits would do nothing, unless he disarmed himself from the fur. Angry thoughts rang threw her head as she began to pace, back and forth in neat circles, thinking hard. A plan formed and she took a deep breath as she drew her sword, this was it, ether from the duel she cried mercy and left coward, or died in pride....in pride of what? that was even dumber, of course she would say mercy if it got out of hand....or would she? Shadowsleek walked undecided, only the first part in her mind, duel the furred fox. Live or die, skill or no skill, three daggers and one curved sword, she could throw the daggers and use the sword, and that was enough.
Shadowsleek walked back, clutching her drawn sword, looking at Airswipe and the ferret in mid air, and Omri still unmoved. Taking a deep breath she yelled "I Shadowsleek the weaselthief, challenge you, Springheel the fox, to a circle battle of mercy! first to call that word loses, the winner leaves with one iteam of choice, no help from the partners, or unless your unwilling to fight a" she rephrased exactly what Omri said before " hypocrite, an obnoxious little weasel that preaches peace because IT can't fight."
Shadowsleek smiled, she was going to have to show her little skill and tricks in dueling. She was lucky to remember to the foxes name from before. The black weasel knew that the fox would think this was an easy win, and that was enough to get him to duel her right? well if he thought that, he wasn't far off. Shadowsleek dueled not many times, she was a thief, a thief never fought, they just snuck away stuff without anyone seeing. She prayed her fathers skills would be passed on, she earned the respect of a falcon, and that gave her hope. The weasels tricks in battle would help, but only a little.

Midnightmoon was nearly stunned with the foxes move, he felt the vibrations in his beck as the foxes fist pounded it, but he just nearly jumped up to avoid the foxes sword trust. He stopped with a flap in mid-air, Shadowsleek was going to duel this fox? He flew up high and landed behind her, whispering " scraw! tell foxey to geat rid o' fures,!"

Airswipe scrawed with surprise and tried to swoop upwards, but not in time, the dagger caught him just below his should blade. He soared above, shoulder searing for the dagger went right threw and was stuck there. Airswipe., seeing what Midnightmoon did landed beside him and tiwisted his head to try to examine the knife. Being a bit smart with wounds, he left it there knowing if he took it out he would just bleed more.

Too busy raging at the weasel, Omri heard the swish of air behind him far to late. He felt a wave of panic as he realized he was about to be stabbed by multiple talons and dragged off the ground. His horror, however was erased as blunt footpaws hit his mid back, forcing his several steps forward. His breath left him as he stumbled and nearly lost his balance.
He swung around, gasping heavily just in time to see his brother continue his flight and the falcon shoot upwards, one of Dax's blades stuck into its shoulder. Blood dripped from the bird onto the ground directly in front of Omri as he drew a deep breath and grinned towards his brother. "I think you won that one," He smirked, glancing to see the falcon land behind the weasel who he also noticed was challenging the fox. He felt a prickle of annoyance at the beast again but didn't mind all of their new found foes being in the same area... away from him.
